After conducting my FREE Diagnostic Evalution on your equipment, I will go over my findings before any work is begun. It is very important to me that you have a thorough understanding of the issues. All of these items are thoroughly tested for causes of their corruption and failure to determine that they are in fact failing and need replacement. Wherever possible, I will repair rather than replace, to keep your costs down. If it is a component that is not possible to repair, such as a completely corrupted Hard Drive, replacement will be necessary.

◊ Replacement Part(s)

If Replacement Part(s) are needed to complete the repair, I will only obtain new factory specified parts after receiving your approval. I will shop the computer brand manufacturer, and my third-party suppliers for the very best price passing those savings on to you. I do not mark up parts to my customers—you will pay what I have paid, and I will give you the invoice from the supplier.

 

In most cases it is more economical to obtain the necessary part(s) from a third-party supplier, rather than the actual manufacturer of your computer. The only difference is the cost of the item, not the quality of the manufacture. In almost all cases the computer brand manufacturer does not manufacture all the parts of their computers, but specifies parts from various other manufacturers. These other manufacturers also sell to other third-party vendors in addition to the computer brand manufacturer.

 

This fact is what enables me to shop around for the best price for the part(s) you need. Sometimes however the part(s) is/are unique to the computer brand manufacturer and are not available for purchase from anyone but the computer brand manufacturer. In those cases I do not have any choice but to purchase the part(s) from the computer brand manufacturer, (usually at a premium price). In all cases, I will do everything I can to source the best price for factory specified parts.

If you prefer to purchase the parts yourself, I can source the part or parts for you, set up a Purchase Order with the supplier, and then turn the order over to you. You will then be responsible to contact the Supplier and pay for the order. I am most happy to work with you however you prefer.

Most common Laptop Screen outage issues are resolved by replacing one or both of two components which are the key elements to the LCD Display. Either the Inverter Board has malfunctioned or the Screen Display is significantly dimmed or has gone out, or both of these situations have happened.

Often though it is necessary to replace both the Inverter Board and the Screen Display, to return the LCD to working order. However, the minimal cost for the inverter offsets the necessity of this additional part.
